Au Revoir Paris

Well Dear Reader, since the last blog the Travelling Goddess has been exploring more of Paris. She was enchanted to meet a range of fellow travellers including Genevieve Patroness of Paris, a range of dead French kings and queens nicely entombed, said hi to the Mona Lisa and a range of other well known figures at the Louvre, had lunch with Deepak and sparrows at the Paris Mosque, bought books at Shakespeare & Co (how unexpected!) read many more books (thanks dear Deepak), did some shopping - mainly shoes and clothes (now that IS unexpected) walked the Promenade Plantes, dropped into Notre Dame because it's just across the road, ate Berthillon ice cream because it's just around the corner, didn't ride a bike round Paris but took a photo to make it appear she did ride a bike, dropped by the Pantheon again, caught up with Oscar Wilde, Rossini and Sarah Bernhadt at Pere Lachaise, none of them up for a conversation sadly, walked the canals around Republic, got into the rhthym with Deepak, Kelvin and Isabelle at the Soweto Choir at Le Chatelet, had some good food and wine..because there is no other option. Slept in and read most mornings because it's still dark....(apologies to "the workers" who are reading this blog). Kept being approached by people for directions (brave misguided souls) and got quite good at saying in very bad French that I don't speak French. Je suis Australie goes a long way, managed French keyboards .....Had great weather and that's all I can think of right now.....Oh just one more thing I leave tomorrow.............can you believe it?????

Dear Travelling Godess, I'm sorry the divine photos of Paris are coming to an end. That said, I suspect the au revoir may be only temporary! Enjoy the remainder of your grand journey in the tropical far east!! Maybe a Gin Sling is on the menu!
