The last few days have been cold & windy in Sydney so I’ve spent some time learning more about the art of blogging. I’m trying to learn how to post photos with my entries. So I’m practicing with my photos from the Wonderful Workshops in Jaipur, India in January this year. Looking at my photos Jaipur seems far removed & years ago. The photo posted on 3rd June is the "Flock of Crows" the wonderful piece created by Clare in our Sparkling Surfaces workshop. It’s made mainly of glass set in resin. Isn’t it beautiful?
I'm including a couple of others photos from Jaipur. The photo above is of the grounds of the Diggi Palace Hotel. The weather was wonderful, the sun was shining most days. The garden was a great spot to rest & enjoy a cup of the delicious ginger & honey tea.....
This photo is of some local women & children enjoying the public holiday for Makar Sankranti (Kite Flying Festival).
I look forward to attending the Wonderful Workshops in 2010. Three friends from Australia are joining me .....can't wait to introduce them to the sights, sounds & experiences of Jaipur & enjoying many adventures with them! Till next time .....Namaste
